CBCPAC Chairman Rep Gregory Meeks announces endorsement of Jon Ossof In Georgia's 6th Congressional District

Today, Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus PAC, Gregory Meeks (NY-5), announced the unanimous endorsement of candidate Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District:

“Jon Ossoff is a rising star in the Democratic Party and I am proud to announce that the Congressional Black Caucus PAC is united in endorsing his candidacy. Jon has introduced a sense of optimism and a spirit of progress in flipping Georgia’s 6th Congressional District seat from red to blue in this historic election,” said Congressman Meeks. “We trust that as a former staffer for a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Jon will hold Washington accountable and stand up for the communities that he represents. The CBCPAC very much looks forward to working with Jon to strengthen the middle-class and fight back against those in Washington who threaten our shared values.”

In receiving the endorsement, Ossoff said, “I am honored to have the support of members of this important Caucus. The people of Georgia's 6th District want and deserve a fresh leader in Congress who will listen to them, hear their concerns, and advocate on their behalf. If I am elected, all people of the 6th will have a voice in Washington.”
